The Invitation to your ceremony is given to guests to formally invite a person, a couple or a family to join in your special day and to advise of when and where the wedding ceremony and reception will take place. These are usually given out anytime from around four months prior to the wedding date, although if there are guests travelling, accomodation and menu choices this timeframe can change to allow more notice for your guests. There are several styles of day invitation, which can incorporate ribbons, embellishments and papers to compliment your day, giving your guests an idea of what to expect at your ceremony.
Evening Invitations
These are given to guests who were not invited to the ceremony and reception, usually wider family, friends and work colleagues etc. These again follow on the same theme as the day invitations and are given to guests usually six to twelve weeks prior....

Table Plans
The day invitations can contain more information that purely date, time and venue. With more options now available to couples inserts can include menu choices, accomodation, travel options, directions, gift poems/lists along with the all important RSVP.
The Table Seating Plan which shows table name/number together with a list of names will guide your guests to their designated table;
The Table Seating Plan is usually placed near the entrance to your reception venue on an easel and again will follow on the theme you have chosen.....
Table Card
The Table Card is used to identify the table to your guests; after locating their name and table number on the Seating Plan your guest will then be able to recognise their table. Although the tables are usually numbered, any naming system can be used to make your day individual and special to you, such as names or places you have travelled together. After locating the table your guests are then able to recognise their seat with Place Cards......
Guest Place Card
& Favour Tag
Place Cards are situated at the seat of each guest. On the table there may also be a Wedding Favour, this is a small gift from yourself to your guests, this can also have a favour tag attached which can be in place of the guest place card......
